TreePeople Presents events are where arts and activism converge in Southern California–creating a new space to explore the connections between creativity and the environment.

TreePeople Presents is focused on curating experiences that you can’t find anywhere else in Los Angeles’ crowded yet homogenous entertainment landscape. We’re focused on giving artistic communities a space where their voice can be heard to the fullest–diving into what makes them unique and exciting. Be it film screening events that allow us to nerd out on the eccentricities of our favorite creators, concerts where musicians can merge art and activism, or community conversations that explore the natural world around us, events that engage have a home at TreePeople’s S. Mark Taper Foundation Amphitheatre.

I designed the branding with the goal of portraying the surreal experience the events offer to its audience, highlighting nostalgia and the mystical vibe of the "forest under the stars" setting. For this reason, I picked a bright color palette and a slightly distorted typeface for the logo. I also created a number of illustrations based on theater stage props to use across deliverables.
