Coldwater Canyon Park Signs

Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator

As the home of TreePeople, Coldwater Canyon Park provides 45 acres of beautiful natural environment—the ideal setting for an immersive walk along the trails, and an inspirational opportunity to learn through experiential education.

These interpretative signs aim to educate about Coldwater Canyon Park’s landmarks, how they correlate to the organization’s mission and how park goers can apply these concepts in their own homes.

Plants of Tovaangar Tour

TreePeople has worked with the Gabrielino-Tongva Language Committee to document and share the Tongva words for plants native to this region. By offering this interactive audio tour of Coldwater Canyon Park, our goal is to not only deepen visitors’ knowledge of the cultural and historical significance of these plants, but to honor the history and language of the indigenous people who have long lived in this area and tended to its lands.
